Clicks are rerouting to AI answers and community threads

AI Overviews and chatbots are rerouting search clicks away from your landing pages. Here's the one page worth fixing first.
Search behavior is shifting underneath a lot of founders without them fully clocking it yet.

Clicks are rerouting to AI answers and community threads

Your pricing page is the highest-leverage fix
If it doesn't answer "how much" and "how it works" in one clean sentence, you're not part of the AI answer.
Community participation is now distribution
Thirty minutes a week of genuine, useful participation in one relevant community counts as a real channel.
AI Overviews and chatbots increasingly answer questions directly, and that traffic goes toward AI-cited content and community threads, Reddit, niche Slack and Discord groups, rather than the landing pages brands spent years building specifically to capture it. If you're a solo founder with no SEO team, you can't chase every keyword this touches. There isn't time, and honestly there isn't a clear playbook yet either. What you can do is find the single highest-leverage fix and actually make it.
Your pricing or homepage's answer to "what does this cost" and "how does this work." That's the exact question type getting lifted into AI Overviews right now, constantly. If your answer to either of those is buried three clicks deep, vague on purpose because your pricing is complicated, or gated behind a form, you're simply not part of the answer AI hands your prospective buyer. You've been quietly opted out.

Community threads increasingly get cited directly in AI answers, which makes them a real distribution channel now, not just a nice place to hang out. Treat one relevant Reddit thread or niche Slack or Discord community as worth thirty minutes a week of genuine, useful participation. Not dropping links. Being visibly, actually useful, the kind of comment someone screenshots.

You can't out-SEO an AI Overview by producing more content faster than it can summarize. But you can make sure the one page that actually matters gives a clean, quotable answer the next time it goes looking.
